Highlander's Day at The Polish Museum of America
The Polish Museum of America and The Tatra Mountain Cultural Foundation had the privilege of hosting Highlander's Day. The central theme ofthe event was "John Paul II the Great - Highlander," a heartfelt tribute to Pope Saint John Paul II in the context of his highland heritage.
During this special gathering, we explored the unique bond between Pope John Paul II and highlander culture. We delved into his roots, shining a light on his profound quotes and speeches that paid homage to mountains and highlanders. The event featured a compelling film and presentation titled "Pope Highlander from Bachledowka." We also honored the papal pilgrimages he made to Podhale and Chicago.
